The Story
When the sun drops behind Erg Chebbi, the desert becomes a different planet. We track desert foxes in the cooling sand, listen for jackals, and watch the Milky Way crawl from horizon to horizon — no city light for 400 kilometres in any direction.
History
Erg Chebbi is geologically young — only 6,000 years old. The Tuareg call this stretch 'the sea that never wets you'.
