The Story
Group expedition with Moroccan botanists into the cliff meadows above Setti Fatma. We document the wild musk rose, the indigo Atlas iris, the rare argan-blossom, and a yellow saffron crocus that grows on only six known slopes on Earth — every one of them in Morocco.
History
Linnaeus described Rosa moschata from a Moroccan specimen sent to Uppsala in 1762. The plant still grows wild where the original was collected.
