The Story
The Rif hides water no map shows. Local guides take us through walnut groves and over slick limestone to pools the colour of cobalt, where rope-bridges built by hashish farmers in the 1970s are the only way across.
History
The cascade pools are called 'God's Bridge' in Riffian Berber — Pont de Dieu in French. The natural arch above the falls is 25 metres tall.
