Atlas Mountains
The High Atlas runs 2,500 km across Morocco, peaking at Jebel Toubkal (4,167m) — the highest mountain in North Africa. Below the snowline, Amazigh (Berber) villages of red earth cluster around walnut groves and irrigation channels engineered a thousand years ago.
